Symposium on Host-Microbe Systems Biology: Modeling Our Microbial Selves

The first annual META Center Symposium on Host-Microbe Systems Biology will be held August 8-10 in Eugene, OR. Our symposium, entitled “Modeling Our Microbial Selves”, will explore the assembly, dynamics, and evolution of the microbial communities that co-exist with animals and will highlight the synergies between investigations in animal models and humans. The program will feature talks on cutting edge research from invited speakers and submitted abstracts as well as open forum discussions aimed at fostering crosstalk between researchers specializing in microbial ecology, population genetics, evolutionary biology, model organisms, technology development, and human disease. Registration for the meeting is free but space will be limited, with preference given to those who submit abstracts for poster or talk presentations.

Poster information:

The poster dimensions are 44 inches in width and 46 inches in height at maximum. Each presenter will be given half a board face to display his/her poster. Thumbtacks will be provided onsite for mounting posters.
