Exploring Microbial Mysteries at META 2015

The META Center 2nd Annual Symposium on Host-Microbe Systems Biology was well attended and generated high-quality scientific talks on the advances that have been made in the field of host-microbe biology systems. Keynote speaker Julie Segre, National Institutes of Health, presented “Genomic Epidemiology: Full genome sequencing to track antibiotic resistant Gram-negative bacteria within and between hospitals”. In addition, there were 17 speakers from other institutions who presented their scientific research. An article titled Exploring Microbial Mysteries at META 2015 was published by the Office of Research and Innovation that highlights the symposium activities.
